I am skilled in addressing the spectrum of mental illness utilizing medication treatment and/or talk therapy that is rooted in psychodynamic therapy but also incorporates elements from supportive therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based treatments.
I work with individuals with the following disorders:
Adjustment disorders characterized by debilitating emotional or behavioral reactions to stressful events or changes.
Personality disorders or conditions that impact how one feels, thinks, behaves, or relates to others.
Anxiety disorders that can include excessive worrying, fears, irritability, trouble sleeping, restlessness, impaired concentration, and physical symptoms like chest pain.
Depression or feeling the following symptoms: unhappiness or hopelessness, low energy, appetite challenges, low self-esteem, and/or difficulty experiencing joy or pleasure.
Mood disorders that can include extreme or troubling shifts in mood or emotions.
Trauma-related disorders attributed to abuse, trauma, stress, violence, loss, and/or manmade or natural disasters.
